ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE

We have more than 40 engineers and technicians who design products and processes for the successful fabrication of quality

thick film hybrid circuits. A design review, carried out of engineers of design engineering and manufacturing, is the key to the manufacturing excellence of the company.

This review lays emphasis on specification, centering of design, yield and documentation so as to ensure the successful manufacturability of the product.

The production release occurs after approval from customer's requirement. After a detailed discussion, the product is formally transferred to the production line. the complete package of documents as well as the design and prototype data accompany this transfer.

MANUFACTURING EXPERTISE

Over the year, we have developed a very mature process such as through holes, resistors on top of dielectrics, and multilayer circuitry with as many as 14 separate depositions. All these processes capabilities gives us the maximum flexibility and unable us to choose the most economic approach for high density packaging. Four trimmers are employed to trim thick film resistance with a 0.5% tolerance.

This capability of holding close tolerances in trimming resistors enable us to manufacture very precise circuits.

We offer both SIP and DIP circuits as per the customer's requirements. All kind of SMD Components can be mounted on by reflow soldering. All circuits are 100% electrically tested using dedicated test stations simulating the required test conditions. We offer a choice of conformal coating for rugged performance in harsh environments.

A separate research and development cell is continuously engaged in discovering and developing newer ways to provide various value added solutions to the customer. With the help of precision instruments and state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, we are able to offer to virtually fool-proof, space-saving, innovative & cost effective hybrid solutions.

UNCOMPROMISING QUALITY

At Film Electronics, maintaining quality is the number one priority from start to finish. Our Quality Control Engineers are involved in product development from the earliest design stage. There is a system to control and update all the drawings and specifications. any change or deviations must be originated and approved by the engineers in writing. Live tests conducted by ERTL and ETDC confirm the effectiveness of our quality programme.

Through Statistical Process control, chemical and mechanical processes are continuously monitored, and based on control charts prompt corrective action is taken with continuous efforts  to improve process capability for defect prevention rather than detection.
